Back in 2017, I visited Sulawesi with two friends. We met a tour guide in Toraja and we told him that we had plans to go to Manado and Bunaken. This tour guide had a good friend in Manado who was also a tour guide: Eddie. We are extremely happy that we met him, as because of Eddie, we had the most amazing time! Eddie is super kind and friendly, very ‘gezellig’ and he knows so much about the region. Eddie picked us up at the airport and we made plans to visit the Tangkoko National Park with him. Eddie told us so much about the jungle, trees, plants and we even saw tarsiers and a hornbill! After Manado, Eddie came with us to the beautiful island Bunaken. We went diving and snorkeling and Eddie showed us lionfish, cobra snakes, sea cucumbers and we also had the chance to swim with turtles. We look back on our trip with so much joy and we really wish to come back one day and have Eddie teach us even more about the region and its beautiful nature and animals. We would truly recommend Eddie to everyone visiting the region, there is no better and nicer tour guide! ?
